Dr. Crystal Toombs has worked extensively with young adults and adults, especially teen parents for over ten years. Her counseling approach seeks to empower, motivate, and encourage individuals in the fact that regardless of the barriers they face, they can be successful. TVA employs counseling techniques that will unleash hidden potential in every individual so that through empowerment they will be able to overcome life’s difficult circumstances. Dr. Toombs completed her doctoral degree at Mercer University and holds a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the Kent State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Mental Health, from Wilberforce University. She also has a Diploma in Christian Leadership from Alphacrucis Bible College in Auckland, New Zealand.
